Surprise! Sample Time

It's a quiet, peaceful day here in the city...or at least it was until a monster came crashing through a nearby building. Fortunately for everyone in the nearby area, the monster isn't exactly alone. A silver-clad figure is in hot pursuit of the monster. He's got a sword, he knows how to use it, and he is most displeased that this fight has erupted into a populated area.

"Get out of here, quickly!" The man in silver has absolutely no qualms about fighting this monster comprised of various movie-themed parts, but boy does he not want any bystanders to get hurt. "I'll handle this!"

"Hey!" the monster says angrily. "I'm the only one who's filming here!" It menacingly waves its arms around. "ACTION!"

And there's a flash, a puff of smoke, and a title card appears somewhere in the air. HOW DEBOSS WON THE WILD WEST briefly flashes in the sky. The silver-clad hero is no longer silver-clad but a winged bird-lizard-man now dressed in a sheriff's uniform (complete with cowboy hat). He's still holding his gun (close enough to be thematically appropriate), but his sword is for the moment nowhere to be seen.

The wall Bakura was hiding behind is now a rough wooden wall, and Bakura will find himself attired in Western-style clothing (also complete with cowboy hat).

The monster has for the moment vanished.

There's a sigh out of Torin. "I shouldn't have watched that DVD last night, my apologies. It appears to have given him some ideas." He's not making any move to holster his weapon, not yet. Not when he's expecting a stagecoach ambush or to suddenly be challenged to a shootout.

Bakura blinks twice at his new outfit before applauding with a happy laugh. "Aaaa, this is so cool! Never done a Western themed LARP before!" he grinned, stepping out from his hiding spot. "Heeeeh, the boots even have those metal things!" he realized, lifting a foot up behind him and trying to peer at it.

Torin still hasn't let his guard down. "This is not a game," he says sternly, "but I will do everything I can to keep you safe. You shouldn't have been swept up in this."
